Austin residents will be able to attend a free health fair on Saturday, September 19, 2026, without showing photo identification or having health insurance.
Fiesta de Salud runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center, 600 River Street. Austin Public Health says the annual gathering combines health screenings and community resources with entertainment celebrating Hispanic and Latino culture.
The department reports that more than 800 people have received services through the event over the past three years. This year's invitation is open to everyone, including people without insurance.

Residents who need an appointment outside the event can consult Austin Public Health's screening-services directory. It lists the Sexual Health Clinic and Tuberculosis Clinic at the RBJ Public Health Center, 15 Waller Street.
The directory lists a $30 charge for sexual-health testing and treatment, with appointments available online or by calling 512-972-5430. It separately lists $30 tuberculosis blood tests on Wednesdays by appointment; that clinic's booking number is 512-972-5460.
Those are ongoing clinic arrangements, not a list of tests promised at Fiesta de Salud. Residents should confirm current availability with the relevant service. The September 19 fair itself is advertised as free.
